  4. What are the teaching methods that you used to teach pre-school English?
  5. So far, how successful the teaching methods that you used to teach pre-school English?

  8. From your opinion, what are the barriers for you when you teach pre-school English and how do you undertake the situation?
  9. Do you know about other teaching methods that are available in order to teach pre-school English?

1st interview at SK Segambut.

  2. 5 years
  3. I got the first posting here. I teach the chidren all the subject including English subject.
  4. Use media approaches (CD or Tv).
  5. Able to write and say the word that shown.
  6. Children need to know the basic English as a introduction for second language.
  7. Parent give simple question or order to children. Introduce first the name of object in house.
  8. The children do not understand and do not give attention to the learning. They cannot remember what they had learnt yesterday when they were forced to learn. Use singing because they can remember and understand through sing a song.
  9. Speaking fully English. 
  10. Use more CD English and no translation.


2nd interview at SK Batu Empat (1).




  1. Puan Binti Abdul Ghani.
  2. 2 years.
  3. Start working in January 2010. For first year is very tough year because I have to teach as well as pre-school management, filing, finance, environment, many things and at the same time I have to teaching.I try hard especially in reading skills such as vocabulary and simple words or instruction because it is very important at that time.
  4. Conventional. According to children development that their social life for English language is low then start teaching with basic English.
  5. Children are able to follow instruction.
  6. Basic before the children go to primary school. Introduce them the simple English.
  7. Use educational CD, simple instruction,from media and simple English.
  8. Most of the children are from Sabah and they do not influence to Malay language. That is the barrier to teach English, have to teach Malay first before teach them the very simple English.
  9. Montessori method.
  10. Teachers should cooperate with parents. Parents should take part to educate their children using basic English.
